What a certified home health aide does
CHHAs provide hands-on personal care in the client’s own home, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Meal preparation

- Medication reminders
- Companionship and everyday support
After you qualify
Our aides receive orientation under the supervision of our nursing team, and our registered nurses carry out annual performance evaluations against established criteria. In line with state guidelines, our certified home health aides also take part in ongoing continuing education to keep their skills current.
